Welcome to our living room. You'll find it takes a certain "bonkers" way of thinking about things to hang out here. No one will ever ask you to leave, but you might feel uncomfortable being here if "our tribe don't dig your vibe." The emphasis is on creativity, spontaneity, and improvisation. Most of us know each other here. Many of us are related. We use aliases just for the hell of it.

Don't you hate it when that happens...you hit the enter key and...boom, you've published...before you're done with your thought. Here's what I meant to post. The Solstice is, well, it's important. It has been important for a long time. Happy Longest Day Joey (welcome to the blog), Happy Longest Day to each and every one of you. Enjoy the sun.
hello out there...did everyone melt?
I know everyone is in preparation for the Art and Music Showcase sponsored by Asio Studios scheduled for Sunday, June 26th from 2 - 8 pm Mountain time, yep, that's it.
It's a lonely game sometimes, huh, Ethunk?
I'm wit'chya, babe.
The Summer Solstice makes everyone fat and lazy.
"Here comes a sun, doo din do-do,
Here comes a sun, 'n' ah say.
It's alright."
Hey Owl,
Guess who appeared out of nowhere today? The Chop burst in the office door all surprisey like. He looks great. I think he is having a great time. His only complaint, "the heat"
All around me things are changin' ,
I still feel the same, like yes-terday...
Happy to have come...
Once around the sun.
Tell Chop I love him a bunch!
...and that I know he knows how to take the heat.
Has he met Kato Buss yet?
I hope they hug.
They are almost brothers in my feeble, tribal mind.
Kato Buss...is that a stage name?
Nope. He is the son of Nigel and Patty Buss.
I went to college with them, sort of. Nigel was a painter, Patty an actress. Both Kknew Steve Jones and John Day quite well. Nigel had just graduated when I was a freshman and was running a bar in Yanktin called the 13th Floor. I used to play drums there. Kato is roughly Nate's age and used to ride on the back of Berford the sheep dog. I was always jealous of him for being able to do that.
Steve Jones...Steve Jones...are you still in contact with him? Is he still married to that wonderful woman? And who the heck is Berford the sheep dog?
Steve Jones is not married to Anne (Janis) for a long time. Anne has changed her name back to O'Neal and keeps in touch more than Steve. But we are all still "in the loop" with each other.
Berford was an enormous English sheepdog that belonged to Nigel and Patty Buss. They had Berford before thay had Kato. He was the finest of dogs.
Steve Jones is now friends with Francis Ford Coppola, Gary Oldman and Billy Bob Thornton, so he doesn't touch base with his old SD pal "Rocky" much. But Im pretty sure that Rock's the one who taught Steve how to get along with white boyz. So we're still brothers, at least in my mind. The thing I like about Steve is when he told me the last time we talked that whenever he makes a movie and makes a bunch of money, he doesn't do anything for a long time after that. I said, Really, how come?"And he said retty emphatically, "Well, I'm not an overachiever, Rocky." That's my man. Stevie.
...come to think of it, I did know they were divorced. That's great news about Steve. What movies has he been in?
I forget the names of a lot of them. One was "Blood in, Blood out" a prison movie. "Patch Adams" with Robin Williams, one of the TV series about law and cops, and several movies where he was cast, filmed the parts and got dropped in the edit. He tells how this happended to both him and Gary Oldman in one movie. They just dumped their parts at the editing stage. He's decided he doesn't care. Just get the check. His main gig is in San Francisco, at a community theatre I think, teaching and acting. He lives in Oakland with a journalst woman whom I have not met face to face.
