Funding Cuts Target Public Broadcasting

Welcome to our living room. You'll find it takes a certain "bonkers" way of thinking about things to hang out here. No one will ever ask you to leave, but you might feel uncomfortable being here if "our tribe don't dig your vibe." The emphasis is on creativity, spontaneity, and improvisation. Most of us know each other here. Many of us are related. We use aliases just for the hell of it.

Anna doesnt watch much television, but when she does I take comfort in the fact that she is watching something that will help her develope her brain. PBS' award winning childrens programing is amonge the most worthwile on tv. the cuts would all but eliminate Arthur, DragonTales, Clifford, Between the Lions, Reading Rainbow, Sesame Street and Maya & Miguel.
There's a raging debate about this on Mt. Blogmore, Spin, a pretty good one. Check it out. I'm with you by the way.
I don't have kids yet, but when I do...they better be able to watch Sesame Street...or I'll let htem start a street gang.
