I have a dream...Martin Luther King
It is such a good, no great speech.
Welcome to our living room. You'll find it takes a certain "bonkers" way of thinking about things to hang out here. No one will ever ask you to leave, but you might feel uncomfortable being here if "our tribe don't dig your vibe." The emphasis is on creativity, spontaneity, and improvisation. Most of us know each other here. Many of us are related. We use aliases just for the hell of it.

Although I believe that to be a brilliant speech, I heart the speech he gave in Memphis the day before he was killed. The title of that speech is "I've Been to the Mountaintop."
Then, although it's not a MLK speech, one of the greatest speeches about MLK and his legacy was given by Robert F. Kennedy. Kennedy found out about the assassination when he was campaigning in Indianapolis, IN. He was speaking before a large group of mainly African-Americans. He literally found out about MLK's death moments before he spoke. What intrigues me about that speech was the passion RFK conveyed, and the words he chose. It was as if the speech had been written and practiced for days. If you listen to the audio of the speech, you can hear the shock of the crowd...they all learned of the death from RFK. Here is the link to that speech.
And that's all I have to say about that.
I'm interested to hear what some of you think about the speeches.
