Happy New Pope Day
Work stopped for about a half an hour today to watch the cerimony of new Pope-itude. It facinates me a great deal. What are your thoughts on the new guy?
Welcome to our living room. You'll find it takes a certain "bonkers" way of thinking about things to hang out here. No one will ever ask you to leave, but you might feel uncomfortable being here if "our tribe don't dig your vibe." The emphasis is on creativity, spontaneity, and improvisation. Most of us know each other here. Many of us are related. We use aliases just for the hell of it.

Who is the new guy? Haven't seen it yet.
Cardnal Joeseph Ratzinger from Germany
New name Pope Benedict the XVI (16th)
Side note:
The white smoke poured from the Vatican and with in 5 minutes MSNBC.com and news.Yahoo.com both had that information up on there sites. it took news.google.com 18 minutes to announce said info.
I hear from Steve that he's an ultra-conservative.
That's ususally a problem for a lot of people.
I'll have to watch the news and read up on him a little before I can offer any thoughts worth reading.
Thanks for the heads up! Am I the only Catholic
(or should I say "recovering" Catholic) in this blog?
I believe something was mentioned about fundamentalism. Not entirely sure. Can I ask where the other siblings are? They have been quiet for a while. Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
The Onion had a great headline. "Heaven Not as Opulent as Vatican, Disappointed Pope Says."
Hope no one finds that offensive. Just thought it was silly.
I know as we were watching him make is first appearance the announcer stated that he was known for is conservatism and fundamentalism.
Does anyone else think we are going back in time?
Bon,
The new pope was a member of Hitler's Youth program in Nazi Germany. Rough start!
Love the Onion headline, AC.........
........AC?
Speaking of heaven, who the hell is AC?
I worked for an "Angry Chavez" once.
He was not a conservative fundamentalist.
But he was a Holy Man. And a Catholic.
Are you a Catholic, Kamala?
Or do you just want to go to Rome?
Chop, maybe the other sibs are quiet because they can't remember if they're Catholic or not.
Skleeve, what it is, man?
Want a sandwich?
Kamala,
I have been to Paris, but not Rome. Cheston went to Rome and Florence when he was learning to sculpt in Pietra Santa. Paris absolutely knocked me out! Cheston said the same about Rome. More paintings in Paris though, and Suzie and I are painters. Go to both Paris and Rome as soon as posssible. Do not wait! It's life changing. The sooner you get that buzz, the better. I'd go back in a hearbeat.
I clicked on Angry Chavez, and it would appear that he is possibly our first outsider...
It sayed that he was from New York New York, he has a blog too, you can go to it just click on his name and you can check him out.
I think its neat
