I think it's very dramatic of Reid. I also like how after they asked the public to leave the Senate Chambers...they dimmed the lights.

I'm wondering if there was a keyboard player in there that played "Dah dah dahhhhhhhhh" before anybody spoke.

Dramatic? Very. Necessary? Well we've got some focus on the issues right now. Regardless of what side you're on, these are issues that need to be talked about.

And I'm sick of this Republican team mentality. Supporting the President because you're on the same team is ridiculous. It makes the whole team appear to be on the same mentality level as the Captain. I'm just saying...

Next time we're at "The Office," I'm going to call for a closed session, insist that Steve-O kick out the band and other patrons, and turn off the lights.

Do you think it will work?

PAYWAF! I like that. I don't know what it means yet, but I like it.

I don't know about anybody else but I am having quite a good time watching both the Repubs and the press trying to recover from Harry Reid's bombshell.

It's a risky move. Let's see if it pays off...

(I sound like a dramatic radio announcer)

I heard one democrat say it was the only way to get the attention.
"Lets do something really loud and annoying and that will get some light shined (shone???) on this issue.

I think it will be interesting to see how mad the Repubs get and if anything does come of it.

My question is that Frist said that the Dems did all this to draw attention to something that was being taken care of… then why did they appoint a 6 person team to get to the bottom of all of it?

Speaking of Frist...this whole debachle (sp??) will either make or break his run for the presidency.

I love being over-dramatic.
