I want 100 repsonses, damnit!

Every other blog I've ever been on has gotten at least 100 responses
to a certain topic.

Clue: You have 3 guesses as to what the topic is...
the first 2 don't count.

Anyway, I want us to top that score, for no reason at all!

So, give us 108, spave...or you're all a bunch a blog wimps!

Much love,

Owl.

Right, Poly, the topic is anything it takes to get 100 responses...fast! Before this post drops off the bottom of the list.

As to the topic of the other blogs that get 100 responses, it is always very specific. Not general like this one.

Owl...why the urge...no...obsession of 100 posts?

Do you need to go on Dr. Phil's show?

Thu Aug 11, 08:00:00 AM MDT
Blogger Spinfly said...

I think I have it narrowed down to 2 topics, which essentially could be the same topic... I think it might have a little something to do with the conflicts between "science" and "religion". Am I right owl?

Or maybe its is our current concerns with the love triangle between Brad, Jen, and Angelina.

Maybe it's a debate over whether Jessica Simpson and Nick Lachey will get a divorce?

Spin is warmer than Skogg.
Obsess is what I do Skogg.
It's a good and a bad thing.
It comes with having a brain.
...something Dr. Phil wouldn't
know a damn thing about.
Any other ideas?

I say it’s either evolution verses Creationism... or what ever it is that they are calling it now. Or the ever present abortion/fetus/stem cell argument.
Maybe it isn’t an argument at all. Maybe its something everyone agrees on, like how good cookies are.

Blogger Sarah said...

"Spin is closer than Skog."

Well Spin referred to a love triangle. Is that what the topic is about?

Thu Aug 11, 11:06:00 AM MDT
Blogger Bill Fleming said...

...well, sort of, I guess...

But do notice Skogg, I didn't write "closer" I wrote "warmer".

Thu Aug 11, 11:54:00 AM MDT
Blogger Bill Fleming said...

Spin, he new name for "Creationism" is "Intelligent Design." It gets shortened to ID, which has some very interesting Freudian overtones, don't you think?
Especially as they apply to the layered brain model.
How many of you know what I'm talking about here? Anyone...anyone...anyone?

Anyone...anyone...anyone...?

Yup, ID is pretty seductive to the spiritually inclined.

I fight it myself.

My inspiration is Steven Hawking.

He says he's looked as hard as he can throughout the universe (and I believe him) and he's just not finding any job for God to do, as far as the physical nature of things is concerned. The forces science have identified cover it. No need for any special secret sauce.

Ok, here's a "syncronicity" contest. The challenge will be that we count to five and see if we can keep the numbers in order. Only one person per number.
(i.e. you can tyoe "1" but not "1,2" etc.) Let's see first of all if we can get the numbers to show up in order. And second, if we can do it in the time frame of ten seconds. The record to beat between posts, by the way is mine and ethunks at 2 seconds apart. Let's get tgether tomorrow sometime and see who wants to play.

And we're on fire
Making our way back from Mars
15 there's still time for you
Time to buy and time to lose
15, there's never a wish better than this
When you only got 100 years to live
I'm 33 for a moment
Still the man, but you see I'm a they
A kid on the way
A family on my mind
I'm 45 for a moment
The sea is high
And I'm heading into a crisis
Chasing the years of my life
15 there's still time for you
Time to buy, Time to lose yourself
Within a morning star
15 I'm all right with you
15, there's never a wish better than this
When you only got 100 years to live
Half time goes by
Suddenly you’re wise
Another blink of an eye
67 is gone
The sun is getting high
We're moving on...
I'm 99 for a moment
Dying for just another moment
And I'm just dreaming
Counting the ways to where you are
15 there's still time for you
22 I feel her too
33 you’re on your way
Every day's a new day...
15 there's still time for you
Time to buy and time to choose
Hey 15, there's never a wish better than this
When you only got 100 years to live

Throw your big leg over me mama,

And when my woman gets sleepy,

My work is getting scarce, oh baby,
my work it done got hard,
I spend my whole day stealin' chickens Honey
from the rich folks yard

I would love to take a picnic
