Power came on about 3pm. Never had to wait that long for electricity in the whole time we've owned this house. All our freezer stuff thawed. I'm gonna take a shower! I smell like the Skleeve! (a bit nutty...).
LOL, Owl.

Oh, I agree. This is the moisture we needed so badly. It is just a case of 'be careful what you ask for.' I forgot to say, 'rain, not heavy, tree-spliting snow.'

I think any time it is snowing and then it starts to lightening and thunder, well, Big Mom is making a statement. And we should all be cookin' somethin' cuz She sure is.

I heard it was a new record for snow fall this time of year.

It was indeed strange to drive home, basically in a blizzard and to see flashes of lightening and thunder! I don't think I've ever seen that before. I wonder if it happens much?

Anyone else ever seen it.?

Did your power stay on?

I have seen the lightning snow about 3 times, everytime it is around this time of year or earlier. always a bit creepy though. I heard the thunder this time but saw no flashes.

BO, how soon you forget. Don't you remember the October blizzard in Deadwood? There was lightening, thunder, snow and all sorts of havoc.

Owl has CRS disease.
Probably a self-image
protection syndrome.
I kind of remember.

If you kinda remember, that's good enough...it was amazing.
