Looking at the Lake

2 Days in the Art institute. 30 or so Monets,
a handfull of DiChricos, Van Goghs and Manets,
2 Jasper Jonzez and as many Lichtensteins,
DeKooning and Pollack on the side. And this
morning sunrise over the river and the lake.
The Owl likes Chi-town, but loves his nestmates
in the blackwoods more. Home soon.

Hey Owl,
You and toad should meet up! Maybe you two have even passed each other on the street and didn't recognize each other.
Toad and Owl in the same city. Is the ground shaking?

Owl did not meet Toad.
But did see the Seurats!
And the Miniatures, and the Rembrants...
And the Modiglianis, Picassos,
Berthe Morisots, Turners, Sargents,
Whistlers, Warhol, Oldenberg,
etc and etc. Just got home.
Jake, we were about 5 blocks from
the Drake. Go eat at the China Grill
on Michigan Ave. Happy to be home.
