Isn't it a splendiforous day! Alas, I missed the majority of it moonlighting as a floral designer @ Betty's flowers, downtown. I had to stare at the sunny day through a window; at least I was comforted by the sweet smell of lilacs, hyacinth and stock....mmmmm. If anyone is ever stressed out, might I recommend visiting your local florist? The smells alone will lift your spirits. I like it there because it's a business that feeds off of romance...(well, romance and the gullibility of desperate men...) I designed a $150 lilly arrangement for a man proposing to his girlfriend today (let me tell ya' thats a lotta friggin lilies) and I'd like to think that I'm helping that guy get a definite "YES". I may never feed the hungry in third world countries or save a child from the path of a speeding train, but at least I get to be cupid's middle man every once in a while. How's everyone elses sunny day?

A fine springtime burst of joy.
Only downside is the passing of
the Pope. He was a good one. Here's
to his Holiness and all the good things
he caused to happen. The world is
a better place as he leaves it than
when he entered. And much of the
reason why has to do with things
he did with his time here.
An example for us all.
