A fun and exciting Experiment
I went on the toads site and he had an email that said
" what songs you would put on your Ipod if you were going to be stranded on an island for the rest of your life?"
I want to see what songs everyone would have on there ipods... Lets limit it to top 10. Who knows, I see a hell of a compilation CD makin its way out of this one.

Not nessicarly in this order:
1) Sarah McLachlan, The Rainbow Connection
2) Norah Jones, Come Away with Me
3) Lang Termes, Oh to Life
4) Kenny Rogers, The Gambler
5) Michael Jackson, Billy Jean, or Thriller
6) Jeni Fleming Acoustic Trio
7) Jason Mraz, Absolutely Zero
8) Justin Speck, Spinning
9) Dave Mathews Band, 2 Step
10) Joni Mitchell, Both Sides Now
Now that’s today, it might be different tomorrow
Ditto, Spin. Today for me:
1) Bryan Adams: Have you ever really loved a woman?
2) Schumann: "Dreaming" from Scenes of Childhood
3) Bach: Air on a G String
4) Santana: Welcome
5) Coltrane: After the Rain
6) Feathers: Eric Dolphy
7) G. Bryers: Jesus' Blood
8) N. Fleming: Guitar Lady
9) JFAT: Oh, Pato!
10) C. Langford: Tatankas
That's cheating, Fly.
wow dad,
out of your 10 i think i could get 3 songs of i-tunes, i did already have alot of them though. so i think that i have all but 3 of your songs now.
Jake. you can take your gutar too... but you have an ipod and 10 songs to put on it...
Can't wait to hear Fly's new OM cong.
Does it have a ding-dong bell?
I would like to hear the OM cong, Yakwritten or otherwise.
Which 3 of my songs don't you have Spin?
2, 3, 4, 10
Spin,
Only Jake and Chad have 10.
You could substitute "Samba de Sausilito" for 4
2 & 3 are essential
3 should be easy.
2 is hard, I know.
(Especially on a cello, which is you'll want to hear it.)
Ok, i got 3, but im not sure its the right one. there is singing. is there suposed to be singing?
I found both santana songs.. guess i jsut needed to look a little harder. as for 2) all i could find is
Scenes from Childhood, Op. 15: Dreaming by Eric Le Sage, on an album called Schumann: Piano Works. But its piano not cello.
maybe i will just have to get it from you.
The piano is fine. I's love to hear it. I don't have a recording of it at all, I just heard a guy play it solo on a cello once and it knocked me out!
Idon't know, I suppse there could be singing.
I think the Fleming plays it sometimes on piano. Maybe at T&B's wedding?
I want to add The Letter by the Box Tops to my list
Gimme a ticket for an Aeroplane...
Aint got time to take a fast train.
