Welcome to our living room. You'll find it takes a certain "bonkers" way of thinking about things to hang out here. No one will ever ask you to leave, but you might feel uncomfortable being here if "our tribe don't dig your vibe." The emphasis is on creativity, spontaneity, and improvisation. The thing I am concerned about is that the funds are not going to the pettition drive its self. they are going to planned parenthood.
Yeah, I see that. Maybe you should write to the artist on ebay and ask her that question.
I've thought about it owl, but I dont want to ruffle anymore feathers in that relationship. I think its pretty rocky to begin with.
Well, the money's going to a good cause anyway. There's no guarantee that we'll win the referendum you know. Think of it as a long-range investment, if that helps. The artis is probably playing it the safest way, come to think of it.
I agree. I went to a meeting last night and the question was asked, What would be cheeper, this referendum, or if it went to the courts.
they answered by saying that even if we win, they could come back next year with the exceptions included.... and in that case, planned parenthood would take it to court. Seems like this might be a battle we will have to fight again and agian.
Yes. Probably. It would be good if the referendum won say 75 to 25. That would send them a message. But short of that, they'll probably be back.
