Welcome to our living room. You'll find it takes a certain "bonkers" way of thinking about things to hang out here. No one will ever ask you to leave, but you might feel uncomfortable being here if "our tribe don't dig your vibe." The emphasis is on creativity, spontaneity, and improvisation. Most of us know each other here. Many of us are related. We use aliases just for the hell of it.

Please, please, please make sure there are people from the news media there, and your own people with video cameras, for your own protection. I'm very serious about this.
I went to an anti police brutality rally in Minneapolis once. I was shocked! There were a lot of people there, no violence what so ever but something happed and the cops started throwing people around and arresting them. My good friend got maced in the face…
… At an “ANTI police brutality” rally??!!!

ovatu <- i think thats a beautiful word
Yes, it does.

So, was there a good turnout? Looks like the press was there (RCJ anyway) did you shoot any pix?
I’d say that there were about 60 people there. It didn’t last long... it was pretty much clearing out when I left at around 7:00.
I saw at least 2 news stations, the Rapid City journal and NPR there as well so it was well covered.
I didn’t take my camera; I don’t know what’s wrong with me. doh!
