Hi Dancin,
Good to see you last night
By the way... Noises OFF was fan-friggin-tastic.
Dancin,
See if you could get to the bottom of the crack up between Justin and "Dotty" in the third act. Was that suppose to happen? It seemed real genuine to me.
Chop-a-mo-fly.
(Recon it''s 'bout time somebody calls 'at boy
by his real name, umhmm. Ah lahk d' way he
tawks, 'n'' he likes s'way ah tawk tew, mmm.)
What the?
Anyways...
Dy-lan...is that you in the bear suit?
Welcome back Chop...you youngins' kept me up way to late last night...recommendation to the bloggers, go to Noises Off at the Playzzzzzzounds, it is fabulous, even laughtabulous...and incredibly good for the soul.
And Chop...it was great to see you in your own environ...you know, there aren't many who get to have incredible theater all wrapped up in wondering, wild buffalo, ponderosa pines, some very nice indigenious (sp) gardens, (kudos to the master gardener), a sky filled with more stars than there are stars...and great folks. I hope you are going to be okay coming back to the....real world??????...come August.
Spinfly, if you're talking about the time when Jenny Mae Donnell notices that she really did leave the sardines when she was supposed to have taken them away, and then both she and Justin crack up over it and bring the audience along with them into what seems for all the world like a "real" show- stopping moment, all I can tell you is that it happened again last night, and seemed for all the world like it was a genuine break in the action. Absolutely brilliant. If you hadn't put your question to Chop up on the blog, I too would have sworn it was an "authentic" moment. But now that you know that it happened (at least) twice, what do think. I thought it was perhaps the best directed and best acted thing I've ever seen at BHPH. The cast was superbly chosen, and they gave the director and the audience everything they could possibly want. My only issue would have been the set, as seen from the front. It didn't seem to go with the script. From the back, it was absolutely perfect. And that bit with the curtain was dynomite. Our audience gave the show an immediate, spontaneous standing ovation. I would have rather been at that play than at any movie. It was just that good. Loved it.
Chop was in his glory behind the snack bar, and Jill Swank told me they love him out there. I hope he keeps doing things with them. It's a good spave for him. A nice plave for a Chop.
That’s the moment I was talking about owl. Dancin said that its happened at least 3 times that he know about... so I suppose that their acting is just that good. Loved the play. the did a fantastic job. I am sooo glad that I get the privilege of seeing all the shows. if i was not the photographer I’m sure I wouldn’t be getting the opportunity. Jason Router told me that I was the first PH Photographer to actually watch the shows. I am so delighted to get the chance.
