WTF?
I dont know much... but this doesnt seem like a very good thing...
Welcome to our living room. You'll find it takes a certain "bonkers" way of thinking about things to hang out here. No one will ever ask you to leave, but you might feel uncomfortable being here if "our tribe don't dig your vibe." The emphasis is on creativity, spontaneity, and improvisation. Most of us know each other here. Many of us are related. We use aliases just for the hell of it.

I think we will have to wait for the wizards' words on this one.
I've been calling the wizards. They're not answering. I understand that they are asking the Wisconsin group to stay out of it. Why wouldn't they, if so asked?
The article does say that anyone who wants to file and gather petitions can do so, so I don't really think the Wisconsin group's involvement changes anything. At worst it just confuses things a little.
The people on the pro-HB1215 side are going to cry "out of state interests" no matter what.
Let them.
They have plenty of out of state "skeletons" themselves. It would be the pot calling the kettle black, I think.
The Wisconsin group has withdrawn. See two good articles in todays RCJ. Here's one:

I find it amusing that the pro-1215 people would cry "out of state interests" when they themselves were used as pawns by out of state interests.
I'm just saying.
I also think it's weird that they would oppose a referendum on the bill. To listen to them, the whole issue is one of States rights vs the Federal government. You'd think they'd be happy to have South Dakotans themselves deciding whether they want such a law on their books.
Sounds like theyre taking out of both sides of their mouths to me.
I notice Elizabeth Krause has decided not to run for reelection.
Good call Liz.
