Welcome to our living room. You'll find it takes a certain "bonkers" way of thinking about things to hang out here. No one will ever ask you to leave, but you might feel uncomfortable being here if "our tribe don't dig your vibe." The emphasis is on creativity, spontaneity, and improvisation. Most of us know each other here. Many of us are related. We use aliases just for the hell of it.

1. Hurlbut - Did you see his BAC? 0.257. That's ridiculously high.
2. Wal-Mart - my family is split on this issue. I'm not a fan of the Wal-Mart, yet I find myself drawn there on occasion. I wonder if the new one would have a McDonald's in it.
3. Mt. Blogmore - That's entertainment.
Yeah, it's gettin' kinda nasty on Blogmore. Charley House doesn't like anybody noticing when his arguments start falling apart. He really let that guy Bill Fleming have it. Even accused him of being gay. (I think CH is a homophobe.)
Do you think that Bill is gonna bitch slap him back?
Wait. Bill isn't gay?
So I just read through everything on Mt. Blogmore. Oye...that's a snake pit. Props to both sides for continuing the debate, although it was disappointing to see CH go to personal attacks as an attempt to change the focus off of his response to Bill's inquiry.
Anyway, I'm somewhere in the middle on the issue in general, but I'm against the bill. I'm sick of pro-life groups saying "No, no, no" to abortion, but then firmly believing their job is over. You want the child to come into the world so bad... great... but you make damned sure that the child is raised in a happy home and is loved.
Many people get caught up in the arguments about the procedure that they forget the child that will be born was not a child wanted by the parent.
We have more children than we have foster homes in this country. We have lists of people waiting for babies for adoption, but they only want certain kinds of babies (i.e. specific race, background, etc).
Where the hell are these "save the life of the child" people when the child is born?
(jumps off soap box)
Right on sista!
Probab not very hard. When a guy gets insulting like that, it usually means he's loft the argument. I bet BF does resond in some way though. We'll just have to see, huh?
Skogg, no Bill isn't gay, and has been having to gently explain that to people all his life.
And yes, CH was trying to change the subject. He always does that whenever BF basically (and politely) kicks his ass.
He proposes to be all logic and reason, but he's not.
Note that Mr. Fleming's replies to Mr. House have now been posted on Mt. Blogmore.
Been waitin all day!!!!
Thanks eric! I shared your observations with the Mt. Blogmorons. We'll see what they have to say soon.
I also have to share that a birth control device called an IUD works, not by hormones, but chemically. It allows an egg to be fertilized but does not allow a fertilized egg to rest on the uterine wall. Basically it acts like a permanent morning after pill.
my question is why is it that the morning after pill gets so much grief, and an IUD is used without any opposition.
Good question Spin. I don't know the answer. Ask the Mt. Blogmorons!
