He's just some crazy, random noonjer that I found on Google.

Well, Santa came to our house last night, while I was out to the store getting milk. The noonjers told me he was really nice, but Johnny, Dr. VanSkleeve, and Flick the Fly thought he was acting a little owley.

So as part of his stocking stuffer idea up at my parents' house, Santa donated money to purchase a chicken in my name through Heifer International. Santa did that for all four people that still have stockings up at the house. My younger brother's response was, "Where's my candy? What am I going to do with a chicken...and it doesn't even come to my house!"

Ahh...tis the season to be philanthropic.

I hear rumors that santa came all the way down south too. We are just waking up and have yet to confirm said rumor. We are on our way to back to the Grandparents house soon. I will be sure to keep you all updated.
Merry Cristmas everyone! Its 70 degrees here! teehee!

I'm skeptical about Santa donating money, Skogg. My sources say he doesn't have any, never did... doesn't deal in currency... more of a bartering kinda guy... and the occasional bribe.. mostly food, carbs and liquid protein. A true socialist actually...kind of like Jesus, only with a red hat.

The music scene tonight at the Owls' nest was way over the top. From Max and Flicky doing free jazz a la Ornette Coleman (Max, gge 3-4? on his new drum set and Flick on soprano sax) to Johnny singing Rocky Racoon accompanied by Cheston, to a blowout rendition of Steamroller Blues sung by Al_Dente and Fly ripping out the hot lix on the horn with Owl playing changes, to Butch playing thumb piano and the tempo nóchle, to Holly busting out "Keep Your Hands to Yourself" and Nate and Jeni doing a duet on "All The Plans" with Nate scat singing Jakes guitar solo on the album, note-for-note, and some impromptu Christmas in jazz mode that sounded like we had rehearsed for weeks, it was a monster scene in the finest livingroom tradition. I don't remember any better musical time in this house. And as many of you know, that's saying something. Wish you all could have been with.

we can match it Owl. Chop and Wild Eye and Polyman really took it top notch tonight. I think those three should cut an album! it was hot! I love chrismas!

...and with all of the goodies packed up tight, the southern blog elves are ready to come on home. Oh but those warm fuzzies, they won't have a thing to do with being tucked away. They are still a buzzing all about. When they start minglin' Dakota style, it sounds like they will have some mighty fine companions. See y'all soon!
