It's Mad Hatter Day!

Happy Mad Hatter Day! What does that mean? Well, check out the link...it's a celebration of silliness! If you haven't been able to tell...I'm a bit on the silly side. I also thought it was important to focus on this holiday, as Eekerz and the Giant are in the middle of auditions for "Alice in Wonderland." (PLUG!)

So make sure to be silly for at least five minutes sometime during the day...especially if you're at work. How am I celebrating? Well...when I go into the hallway, I pretend that I'm working at the Ministry of Silly Walks. OH THAT'S SO SILLY!

Not into having fun and being silly (Giant)? Well...today you can also celebrate:
1. Jackie Mayer Rehab Day - Wooooooo
2. National German-American Day - This would be a fun day to celebrate, however, I celebrate this for a week in August...at the German Tent at the Central States Fair.
3. Physician's Assistants Day - woo
4. National Depression Screening Day - is that really something we celebrate, or just note?

Oh...silly me...the second word should be spelled "wickity," not "wickiety."

Certainly it is rude of you to assume that there is room at table for you to have tea?

In honor of this great day I went through our database of silly words and found these little dillies:

aardvark
bamboozle
caboodle
clank
cockamamie
crotchety
dandelion
flabbergasted

Let's see if anybody can get silly enough to use them all in one paragraph.

bftcffr: that is definately not silly

So this crotchety old aardvark named Clank was suddenly bamboozled by a dandelion with a cockamamie scheme. Flabbergasted, Clank the Aardvark wondered that ... if he refused ... would a whole caboodle of weeds make him pay?

That took less than a minute. It don't take that much time if you've got a strong handle on the English language.

What is it that you do again, Giant?

Sorry...I really didn't think I needed the "*note sarcasm" footnote after the English joke, but I guess I do.

I don't like the Giant when he has to teach Freshmen. He takes his anger out on friends.

Try Eekerz...maybe he'll admit to the friendship on a public forum.

Maybe Eekerz already did admit to it. Maybe that's why he's so sad.
