Call to Left Arms
This is an email asking permission from everyone on this blog to recieve a newsletter informing all as to when the journal has a survey much like the one that Spinny posted earlier. It is our opinion here at the owl shop, that these polls don't rightly reflect the artistic views expressed here every day. We need organization and this is the first step in obtaining it. I would also like to request that anyone who knows anyone who would like to be contacted about said surveys send that email in as well. Let's give ourselves a voice instead of looking to someone in a high power position to have it for us. The voices of the many can not always be expressed by one.

I can’t seem to find the place where you take the survey. Just the survey from the day before... which interestingly enough, my yesterday's poll today was dads yesterday's poll yesterday. There is something fishy going on here and I propose we get to the bottom of it!
todays survey is:
What kind of a job is Sen. John Thune doing?
Good 41% Fair 9% Poor 35% Don't know 11% Don't care 4%
Total: 596 votes
Chop,
You have my permission to send polling alerts
to both my home and office email addresses:
bfleming@imagineagency.com
and
bfleming@rushmore.com
Thanks!
Bon, I think the " Quick poll" expires every day.
It's just a one day deal. And they may not
do one every day. That's why it's not very scientific.
There's no control over who votes, or how many
times each person votes. Real surveys and valid polls are conducted in a much more controlled
and systematic way.
Notice how many more people voted on the Thune thing? That tells you something right there.
A lot of things actually.
Do you vote on it dad? I have never done it. i found it one day but it was a stupid question...
would you rather:
A) go to the dentist
B) do your taxes
I saw as how that was not of my interest, or worth waitsing my time.
I only vote on them sometimes,
if I'm interested in the issue.
And I never take them very seriously.
But I think that it's fun to see if you
can push the numbers around,
which on small polls is very do-able.
It's kind of a cool thing to do, especially
if you have "a dog in the fight."
